christmas day

christmas was awesome as always!

we were in st. george this year since i had to work christmas eve. as soon as i got home from work at seven, i woke everyone up so that we could open presents! i knew if i would have went to sleep, i wouldn't be up until midday and that wasn't going to happen.

we tried to do a really simple christmas since we went to hawaii for our gift to eachother. we had to have a couple gifts to open though so we pretty much just wrapped some things that we had gotten over the past month that we hadn't used yet. my parents got us bochi (sp?) ball which is a way fun game you play outside. once it gets a little warmer we'll have to break it out. i'm not a fan of this cold weather we've been having so being outside isn't something that is going to happen for a long period of time. i can't wait until summer is pretty much where i'm gettin at there.

after gift opening, i hit the sack while everyone enjoyed their gifts, fixed breakfast, and watched football. they also got to talk to chase. i told them to wake me up but i guess they didn't. they got to face time him and my mom was freaking out. i woke up for lunch time and we had some yummy soup and had some of that not so good for you but oh so yummy sausage and crackers. the whole day we just spent lounging and enjoying christmas. it's definitely not the same without kids and young people. i can't wait until we have kids and get to see christmas through their eyes again. i love how excited kids get on christmas. it's so dang cute! maybe next year we'll have a little one ;)
