easter weekend

for easter this year we didn't do anything crazy amazing. we were able to just hang out with family and it made it really fun. having a kid for holidays makes them even better as well! even though kai is still very young and obviously doesn't understand anything that is going on, we still tried to make it a little festive for him.

saturday we were able to attend the temple. i hadn't been since for like 6 months so it was very much needed. my sister watched kai while we went to a session which made it really nice. after the temple, we walked around the art festival that they have every year here in st. george. the art that they have is amazing. they also have the most amazing fruit cabobs covered in chocolate drizzle. simply amazing. i'm not going to lie, that's pretty much why i go :)

after the art festival, we just enjoyed the nice weather and just relaxed the rest of the day. my mom and i tried to wax quin's chest. haha it was quite enjoyable but we didn't make it very far! quin was pretty much done after the first couple pulls. poor guy. he has some crazy burly chest hair so i can imagine just how much fun he had with us doing that :)

sunday we hid easter eggs around the house, had kai "search" for his easter basket that the easter bunny hid, and ate our weight in mini cadbury eggs. it was a fun day! the easter bunny brought kai the cutest easter outfit so naturally we took like eighty pictures of him. new mom syndrome. it's actually pretty contagious especially with cute babies so don't say i didn't warn you.
