HAPPY NEW YEAR!
can you believe that 2010 is over?
it has been one great year that is for sure.
for new years this year we went and hung out with our friends adam and haley and their cute little boy brooks. they were nice enough to let us crash their party! we had so much fun ringing in the new year with them. we ate a lot of yummy goods and drank the night away!
some highlights of the night:
- playing with the cutie brooks
- getting to hang out with adam and haley. they are the greatest!
- watcing dick clarks new years eve bash in new york on tv
- making fun of kesha's blue lipstick
- finding out that the backstreet boys are back together
- eating the yummiest of cheese on the yummiest of bread
- sipping some sparkling cider
- attempting to build a fort and realizing we are too big to fit in one
- eating 12 grapes in 12 seconds at midnight (or so we tried). it is an old tradition to bring you good luck through the year!
- getting to ring in the new year with the love of my life
- getting to kiss the love of my life at midnight (before the grape shoving of course)!

2010 has truly been the best year yet.
we are so excited for what 2011 will bring for us.
a little look back at our year:
- finally deciding to get married
- quin proposing doing one of my most favorite things
- graduating nursing school and starting my BSN
- ending my two years on student gov. the funnest and hardest two years
- quin finishing all his pre-dent classes just to realize it wasn't what he wanted to do
- quin deciding what he wanted to do and is going for it
- going through the temple for the first time
- getting married for time and all eternity by president monson. best day ever!
- going on a honeymoon with the hottest man around
- going to hawaii with my family
- going to peru with quins family
- going to nebraska to visit more of my family
- living in hiko
- moving into the cutest townhome
- attempting to be a cute little housewife
- finding out i can't really cook (i'm working on this)
- getting to spend ALL of the holidays together
yep this year has been amazing.
bring on 2011.

PS - I want to see this cute town home of yours :) We're planning on going down to St. George in June for my nephew's baptism...will you guys still be living there you think?
Lia! He is just finishing up his bachelors of business and then he is going into Sports Administration (kind of like an Atheletic Director at colleges and stuff like that). There is a school in Switzerland we are going to try to get into! We will see. It would be so fun!
