quin's love of the u

as we watch the utah vs. byu game i decided i should write about quin's love of utah. quin and his boss, josh, both love the utah utes so much that they thought it would be fun to drive all the way down to usc to watch the utes play their first pac 12 game. that's love. they left bright and early saturday morning and drove the whole way there. josh is an expert when it comes to eating places so they stopped at some hole in the wall restaurant that is supposedly one of the best restaurants in america called roscoe's house of chicken and pancakes. and that is just what they ate...chicken and pancakes. quin says it was the best chicken and pancakes he's ever had! except mine of course. strange combo though if you ask me.

after they ate they walked around the usc campus before they headed out to the game. dixie is miniature compared to the massive-ness of this school, says quin. i could only imagine. dixie is pretty tiny. it would have been fun to experience the "big school feel" but we do love us some dixie state. anyways, they said the game was awesome. utah did surprisingly well at the end and almost tied it up but missed the dang field goal! quin said it was definitely worth the drive down. the stadium holds up to 94,000 people and it was pretty full. that is alot of dang people in one area! quin and josh both had a blast. it if was up to them i'm sure they'd travel around and watch every single utah football game through their whole season.

after the game they got right back in the car and drove home. quick trip but "so worth it" says quin. i'm sure it was. it was his birthday the day before the game and it was pretty pathetic so i'm glad he had a little fun for it.



now back to the utah vs. byu game! go utes!
