this was out last day in new york. our flight left in the afternoon so we wanted to make the most out of our morning. alyse was kind enough to drive us around part of long island and see the awesomeness it had to offer. we first stopped at a memorial for twa flight 800 that crashed back in the nineties. we just happened upon it when we stopped at the ocean but it was cool to see and learn more about it. after that we made our way to port jefferson, a cute little port town with an awesome candy store. seriously candy just lining the walls of all kinds. any kind of ice cream. fudge by the millions. and my favorite...chocolate covered pretzels! quin and i bought a little too much sweets there but it was delicious. we then made our way back to sleepy little seyville where we stayed in that cute little house above. we ate lunch with landon and alyse then said our goodbyes. they were so awesome to let us stay with them and we can't wait for their little bundle of joy to arrive.
new york was awesome and we highly enjoyed ourselves there. it was a very busy vacation but i loved seeing everything we saw. it was definitely a ton of fun.
and now...i can officially say i am done with new york posts. (insert audience clap and hallelujah screams here).
