back in june we were able to make it to hawaii again. it is obviously our most favorite place so when our friends asked us if we wanted to plan a trip with them, we happily agreed. we went with our friends from college who now live in las vegas. they are a blast and i wish we could travel with them more often! courtney is expecting a little one and i believe she was sixteen weeks pregnant when we went. she wasn't sick at all which makes for a much better vaca for her!
we arrived on a tuesday morning i believe. we were staying in a little rental over on the north shore right next to sunset beach. we had the perfect location and loved every minute of every day. each day we woke up early and went to bed late thanks to still being on utah time. it was courtney and jadens first visit to hawaii so we tried to show them as much as we could! we did a ton and had a blast in the process. from visiting every beach we could, to a luau at the polynesian cultural center, to hiking up muddy trails to water falls, to shopping, and of course eating, paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, throwing pennies off pali lookout, and much much more. it was a great trip and i only wish it would have lasted longer! or for us to just move there. the latter sounds like a better option :). the only bad thing was quin got his wallet and phone stolen so that made for an interesting boarding of the flight home. but we made it. we would have been fine if we had to stay in hawaii longer though!
