holly jolly christmas

we had a great time this christmas spending time with family. for christmas eve we had some family come to st. george. my parents and brothers and sister were already here and then my uncle and aunt, their family, and my gramps came as well. we had a fun time eating some yummy dinner of traditional pizza of course! it's actually not a tradition at all but it i wouldn't mind if it was made into one. much easier clean up thats for sure. we also watched the amazing story of christ that is on the chruch's website. it is always rewarding to watch the story of christ and remember the true meaning of christmas!

quin and i started a tradition last year to get a new ornament every year and hang it up on christmas eve. last year we got one that said "our first christmas" and this year we got one of a snowman in a hot tub to reflect the multiple hours spent in the oh so delightful hot tub in our back yard. it's always so relaxing.

christmas day was wonderful, from what i heard from everyone else! i had to work so i didn't get to wake up with everyone and spend the morning opening gifts but quin did a great job at taking pictures and calling me to tell me how it went. i was a little bummed i couldn't be there but i was able to get off early and spend the evening with everyone. quin even waited to open his gifts with me so i wasn't alone. what a sweetheart right? santa went a little crazy this year too but we always have fun opening gifts.

we had a great time together opening gifts and spending time with eachother. my work gave me a turkey for christmas so we ended up having a yummy christmas dinner. all in all it was a great day. i'm sad that it's over but excited for what this next year will bring!
