it was my birthday!

the day after chrismas marks the day that i was born. it was a pretty epic day.

now 24 years later i'm still pretty awesome! haha kidding. it was a fabulous day though. quin spoiled me this year and surprised me with a canon rebel t2i camera!! i was ecstatic. i have wanted that dang thing for forever and he completely surprised me. everytime i would pass it in walmart or best buy i would always go take a couple pictures with it. when we were shopping over black friday we saw one in costco that came with an extra lens and a whole camera bag. i secretly wanted it sooooo bad but we had already finished up our christmas shopping and already over spent. he was pretty sneaky about it. little did i know, he had already got it for me! it was so fun though. he's such a dang cutie. his parents were in on the plan and were sneaky with him. he did so good about keeping it a surprise! i woulda caved.

so that's how the day started out. after that i just wanted to fiddle with the camera but we had some wonderful plans for the rest of the day. my family was still in town so they joined us. we went out to lunch at the beloved cafe rio. it's always a good day when you get to go to cafe rio. after lunch we went and saw mission impossible...4? i think it's the fourth one. anyways, it was so good. i highly recommend it if you like action movies. i didn't even remember hearing any bad language! that's a plus too. 

after the movie, my family headed home and we just relaxed the rest of the day. we did go get us some delicious pretzels at pretzelmaker in the mall. seriously the best salted bread you will ever taste. and add the chedder cheese dip and you got one piece of heavenly food right there. we eat there way too much. with dixie direct you can buy one get one free all year. that's pretty much the reason we have a dixie direct. they are so yummy.
