she was married in the st. george temple and i was so excited to go to her wedding. she looked beautiful and you could definitely tell how in love her and brad were.
it was actually a pretty crazy day. before i go into more detail of the wedding, as i mentioned before, a couple posts back, my little brother got his mission call to west virginia, charleston! he doesn't leave until october though so he moved in with us for the summer to get a job and prepare for his mission. anyways, so he received it and opened it the saturday we came home from california. he planned on going through the temple yesterday. but i guess he got a wild hair and decided to do it the day of amy's wedding! which was less than a week after he got opened his call! he was pretty antsy about going through so he didn't waste anytime. we didn't know that he was going to go through until the morning of. we had to rearrange our schedules and take off work early but everything worked out great and it was so fun seeing how excited it made him. he is going to make a great missionary!
after we did a session with him, we didn't even have to leave the temple since amy's wedding was just after it. we had a great day spent in the temple. it is such an amazing place that we didn't mind too much. after we left the temple, we got a quick bite at the best place ever...cafe rio! and then went to their reception that night in logandale. it was about an hour away, and even given to time difference and gaining an hour, we were still late! dang it. at least we didn't miss it. the reception was decorated so dang cute. amy and her family definitely know how to decorate a place. instead of having a book where you sign in, they had an old type writer! it was so cute.
anyways, friday was a fantastic day and we are so happy for the new couple and chase. now we have more married friends and a new roommate. we couldn't ask for more, right?!
