the monson's: disneyland

we had a wonderful vacation with the whole monson family to the happiest place on earth! it had been a long time coming and had been planned for quite some time so we were pretty excited when it finally got here. we had so much fun spending a week with the monson clan. we went to disneyland, the beach, san diego, sea world, and much more! since i take way too many pictures and i want to have all these pictures on here, i'll break it up a tad.

the monson's who were up north drove down saturday to stay with us that night before we set off to california the next day. that evening, marie and eric, blessed their newest member katie. since the whole fam was basically down anyways, they decided to kill two birds with one stone and it worked out perfect.

sunday morning we were off pretty early in the morning to head down to anaheim. when we got there we got in our rooms and then all went out to eat at the cheesecake factory. you can never go wrong with the cheesecake factory! it's probably our favorite restaurant. anyways, after dinner we enjoyed a nice firework show. they had roof access of some sort at our hotel and since we were right across the street from disneyland, we got to watch the fireworks from there. it was way fun and the kids all loved it!

the next morning we woke up bright and early to head to the park. since we were spending three whole days there, quin and i went off by ourselves for most of the first day. it was nice to get all the big rides under our belts in the first day. the weather was perfect this day because it was cloudy and the sun was hidden the entire day. it was great. usually i love being out in the sun but not for a day at disneyland. my most favorite ride is the hollywood tower of terror and i made quin go on it with me multiple times. by the end of the three days, we had been on it quite a bit! i could never get sick of it.

the second day we spent most of it with the family. i went to parts of the park that i haven't been to since i was little. it was fun though! we spent most of this in disney's california park. we also watched the world of color that night which is absolutely amazing! i think it's a show for everyone, not just the kids. it really was so cool.

our third and last day in disneyland, we all wore matching yellow shirts for family pictures. we took them in the park in front of the mural that looks like the street goes on and on. it was so fun to have the whole family there! the kids didn't even complain that much haha.

disneyland was so much fun and it was even better to see how much all the kids enjoyed it! we even got a picture with mickey :) who doesn't want a picture with mickey?! we stood in quite the line too. we were going to wait outside for the family but decided it would be fun to get a pic too.
