this easter weekend has been lovely. we haven't really done anything traditional this year but it was nice just to spend time with eachother and not have to worry about anything else.
we spend the whole morning playing sand volleyball. i haven't played since last fall and it was so nice to play again. the weather was perfect and we even got a little sunburned. after we got done playing sand, we headed over to the arts festival that they have every year in st. george. it was fun to walk around to all the booths and see all the awesomely fun art. i thought this guy made out of keys was pretty cool. the art was fun but i was more interested in that fruit kabob. seriously?? to die for. it is made with strawberries and banana's with chocolate drizzle. oh my goodness. we want to try and make them ourselves because they were sooooo good.
after the festival, we washed my car, washed ourselves, and went to dinner and a movie. we had a gift card to olive garden and two free movie tickets so we pretty much had ourselves a free date night. we're always up for free things! we saw the movie oz the great and powerful and didn't love it. it was alright though and even better that we didn't have to pay for it.
today, i am working and quin is at home enjoying what easter is really about. we are so grateful for the savior's sacrifice so long ago and will always cherish this day and remember it throughout our lives. we feel so blessed.
