ahhh...organization

i would consider myself a pretty organized person. i like things to look neat and clean and to know exactly where everything is. i clean out my drawers probably every couple months just to make sure they are neat. all my drawers are color-coordinated, meaning white shirts are all together, red shirts are all together, and so on. my closet is the same way too. color-coordinated. it just looks better. plus i can find things a lot better! it makes mornings much easier. even my scrubs are arranged in color and if they are solid or print. i might be a little ocd but hey it works for me!

anyways, so one thing that has been really bothering me since we've been in our townhome is our dang garage. everything just kept getting piled up on top of each other. and it looked disastrous. so i finally decided to go through all the many piles. once going through them all, you just can't be organized without some sort of shelves. so i took off to walmart and found some outdoor shelf's for a decent price. they worked perfect! now we have an organized garage where we can find everything in!

here are the before pictures. yes it is pretty hectic. that big silver metal thing is the back side of the sign i ran over a couple months ago. haha quin dragged it home but sadly it is gone now. i threw that sucker out! maybe if it wasn't so mangled we could hang it up on the wall as a reminder to not be stupid.

and the after!! look how perdy it all is. it looks like there is about half the stuff in there.
(pardon the broom)

i think half of those storage bins have decorations in them. i didn't feel like going through all of them since i just barely put them all the storage bins a couple months ago. i'm sure not too much has changed! now if only we could get rid of that dang dryer. anyone looking to buy a nice dryer? we're storing it for our friends who are currently remodeling their new bought home.

one more picture...

ahhh....doesn't being organized feel great?! i sure think so. we also got rid of old lawn mower and bought a weed eater. our lawn isn't big enough for an actual lawn mower but it was sad to say bye to our rusted piece of metal that used to cut grass well. if you don't remember what that beauty looked like you can go here to re-live that memory.

one more update...quin got a new job!! ok, more like he just got upgraded from his old job to a new one. he still works for the ambassadors and he will still be the ambassador advisor but now he is also a recruiter too! this is such a blessing. he technically can't be full time just yet since he doesn't have his bachelors but when he graduates in december he'll already have a full time job. we're not really sure how long we will be in st. george but things are looking pretty good for now!
