demolition derby

i'm a little late on this but life has been crazy busy lately! last weekend we were able to go the demolition derby at the washington county fair. quin and i have never been to one before, surprisingly they don't have one in alamo! we had a blast though. it was a ton of fun watching all the cars run into eachother. some of the cars got pretty hammered!

we made the night into a triple date with two other couples. first we went to chili's and then we headed out to the fair! they had three rounds of cars and a round of trucks. it was crazy how fast these cars run into eachother. most of them were already pretty banged up anyways. it was such a fun night. we decided to make a tradition out of it and go every year. the weather wasn't even that hot so it was bearable. st. george just barely hit their 100's this past week so it's been a pretty mild summer to say the least!

today is the last day of summer. school starts tomorrow and we aren't too excited about it. we love summer too much to see it end! this is quin's last semester and he'll graduate with his bachelors of business in december. he also put in his application to switzerland a couple weeks ago so we'll see what happens there!!
