tuacahn

this week we went to tuacahn and saw the little mermaid! it was such a good show. quin's mom and sister, heidi, and her kids came down from salt lake for it and we had a blast. it was a girls night out (plus eric) so quin stayed home and baby sat the boys! amber and her kids, marie, eric, and allie, heidi and paige, and momma monson and me were all the lucky ones that got to go. quin's dad was originally coming down as well and it was supposed to be quin and i babysitting but he got sick and wasn't able to make it. we definitely missed him! so with one extra ticket, i got to go and left quin with the babysitting job! the boys love him so he did a great job (except for the burnt popcorn that still smells two days later!)

anyways, back to the little mermaid. it was amazing. they did such a good job. i have heard how awesome the under water scenes are but no one told me exactly how they were done so i was excited to see how they were going to do them. it was seriously the coolest thing. it wasn't what i was expecting but they did such a great job at it! all the actors that were an under the sea character all had rollers on their shoes too so it gave the effect they were swimming. it was pretty cool. tuacahn always does a great job with their shows.

the girls all did really well too. it is a really long show (almost 3 hours with a 20 min. intermission) but they all just loved it. they were so excited to see ariel, it was the funniest thing to watch. all the characters were well played! i loved sebastian and ursula was very well done. all in all a fantastic show! if you haven't seen you definitely need to go. it's so worth it!! they did say, however, that we were the 28th consecutive sold out show. that's stinking crazy!
