just keep swimming

this past monday, us and a couple of our friends all had the day off of work being the holiday and all so we decided we needed to do something amazing! so we all went to the st. george city pool!! i know amazing right? it was actually pretty fun. they have a hydrotube and a diving board and we definitely got our moneys worth going down the tube. the boys, being the competitive ones they are, wanted us girls to time them when they went down to see who could get down the fastest. they are ridiculous. but it made it pretty fun! we love swimming!

we were at the pool for pretty much the whole day and then everyone came over to our house and we had a little bbq. and of course watched the bachelorette! except obama kinda delayed that for awhile with his speech. i wished i woulda listened because i'm sure it was important! oh well. we had a great bbq with everyone. thanks brett and carlie, miah, everton and melissa, and melissa's two sisters for a fun filled day! we highly enjoyed ourselves. so much i think we are going back to the pool on saturday!

we've also been keeping tabs on the new house. on monday after being at the pool we stopped by and it looked like this...

we went and checked on it yesterday and it looked like this...

in two days it became a house!!! it's so amazing how fast they build. you can see another house in the background of the second picture and it's being shingled and stuccoed. we're only a little bit behind that one. it'll be so fun once it gets all done! i can't believe how quickly it goes up. the pool is all dug out too and the piping is all done. i wasn't able to get a picture cuz the people were working on it but it's huge! and it's looking good. can't wait!! we'll want visitors too!!
