sunday drive

tonight quin and i decided to take a drive out to the new house and see how far along they are. they just pulled the permits so everything is on its way! they say it takes about 45 to 60 days to finish the house once the permits are through. so hopefully that means in two months we'll be in the new house! craziness. the footings are poured and they build so dang fast. we are pretty excited.

on our drive out, there is a nice overlook behind the house. since we got there around sunset time we went up to the top of the hill to watch the sun go down. it was so beautiful! the colors were seriously amazing. sunsets are probably the one of the most gorgeous things around. it's been awhile since we've just been able to sit down and watch the sun go down and all the lights and stars appear. it's nice just to relax and enjoy the beauty around you. life has been pretty crazy. i keep thinking it's going to slow down but it doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. at least school ends this week!
