quin and mitch have been friends for a long time. they met when they both were doing the nauvoo pageant. so every summer they'd spend the whole time with eachother and do the pageant with their families.
saturday we took them all out to gunlock falls. the kids loved it! it was such a nice day to be outside and swim in the waterfalls. we stayed out for a couple hours and everyone enjoyed it.

that night was the bluegrass concert. we went down to zions a couple hours before and hung out with mitch and his brother. andrea had to get ready for the concert. zions is so pretty this time of the year! it's so nice to be so close to such a beautiful place. the concert was held at the tanner amphitheatre. it had rained all evening and they were nervous they wouldn't be able to do their concert anymore but it ended up being a gorgeous night. the rain cooled it down so it was actually bearable to sit outside.
on to the bluegrass concert. i've never really listened to that much bluegrass but i actually enjoyed it! the band is called coldcreek and they did an awesome job! they are seriously so talented. you should definitely check em out. they all live in utah and are so so nice. the band is made up of 5 people. one plays the banjo, one plays the mandolin, one plays guitar, one plays the fiddle, and andrea plays the bass. talented is a good word to describe them. even if you don't like bluegrass, you should still check em out.
i forgot my camera so i had to take pictures on my phone so they aren't the best quality! i was pretty ticked at myself for forgetting it.
