skimboard comp

skimboarding is pretty big down here in st. george. when i first came here to college, we met some people who were all about skimming. once we learned how to do it, skimming is pretty much all we did during the summers here. it's so fun! and the virgin river is a perfect little river for it. quin and i both love it. we even have our own skimboards but we hardly go anymore.

anyways, so this past weekend was the skimboard competition. we've gone pretty much every year. we've always had friends to watch so it's always been fun. this year we just went and watched for a couple hours and to get a little sunshine! people come from all over, it's crazy. there was someone from new zealand there! and a couple people from cali and sorts. it's a fun little competition. they have a young group go and all these little kids go and do way better than i ever did.

it was a fun enjoyable saturday to get out in the sunshine and watch some skimming!
