just another fun day

with quin's mom and sister and her kids down this past week we definitely stayed busy with them and had fun doing it! tuacahn was just one night of fun. the next day we were able to meet up with them after a fun day at work. every time they come down we always go to the splash pad on main street. i seriously wish i was a little kid so i could run around in the shooting water and play in the water falls. it's such a fun little area and the kids love it. if i wasn't such an oldie i would bust out my inner kid and run around in them too. i try to spare embarrassing moments for quin though.

another thing we always do when the family comes down is go the outlet mall. the kids love running up and down the sidewalk. while the parents shop, quin and i usually look after the kiddos. jarom absolutely loves quin and will always run to him over anyone else (unless it's grandpa of course) so quin and jarom hung out while i held little sadie. they are the youngest kids and so dang cute. all the kids are cute though! we have the cutest nieces and nephews around.

we always love when the family comes down and visits. we love having family down here as well to play with! having twelve nieces and nephews keeps us on our toes and we love every minute of it.

other random things that have happened...we went to our friends birthday party last week. he married one of my good friends from high school so we went to a pool party to help him celebrate his 26th birthday! all the husbands played a serious game of basketball in the water while the girls dangled their feet in and visited. i love catching up with friends and hearing what they are up to now. i wish we could hang out with them all more than we do. that'll be our new goal! get together with friends more. we always enjoy the time that we do.
