don't shoot ur eye out

quin and i recently got our concealed weapon permits and bought our first pistol! we were pretty excited about it and couldn't wait to get out and practice with them. quin already had his rifle and i had my family's shot gun so it was fun to add the hand gun in the mix. the only problem was finding the ammo for it. since all the shootings and with obama's rage, guns and ammo have been hard to find lately. i understand the need to better gun laws but with obama threatening to take them away, it has just caused an uproar in america. hence, everyone is buying up as much as they can right now. we were lucky to find the pistol that we got and it was even on sale.

anyways, we finally got some ammo after we waited in line right after the shipment arrived and snagged a box. we invited our friends out with us and had a blast. we forgot to bring ear plugs so my ears were seriously ringing for days afterwards. it was a lot of fun though and i think i'm getting a little better! i actually hit the target today. now the clay pigeons are a whole nother story. i still need to practice hitting those babies.
