home update

so after what has seemed like forever and a day, we finally got our building permit and our house is going up! we couldn't be more excited. the only thing that is down right now are the footings but still, it's improvement. this process has been long but it's probably perfect timing with everything else so i guess it all worked out. imagine that. our home is set to be done april first. which is soooo soon!

this past week was the parade of homes so quin and i got tickets so we could get ideas. oh man, let me tell you, these houses are amazing! sometimes i wish i could just buy one of those because they are stunning. but hey, it has been fun to pick everything out and make this home ours as well. the parade of homes was a blast and we got some really good ideas. some we can do pretty soon and others, not until further down the road. it's crazy to think that we are actually going to have our own home though! we're just growing up too fast.
