panthers take state

This past weekend was my little brother, Chase's, state football game in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, Chase got a concussion last weekend during their semi-final game so he couldn't play in the state game! It was kinda sad to not see him out playing. He had to stand on the side line with the coaches and the rest of the team not out on the field. He worked so hard to get there and he is a pretty dang good little player out there. He was pretty disappointed he couldn't play. He is a junior this year so they will just have to play hard next year and make it to state again (which for Pahranagat Valley it won't be too hard, just sayin...my high school is pretty much the bomb at sports haha). Ok, I'm bragging a little too much about my high school. Moving on to the game...they won!! They went undefeated this season and this is their third state title in a row! Cool huh? I'm so proud of my little brother!

Well the game was pretty awesome but the weather was most definitely not. It was so dang cold there. It was windy the whole time and we were lucky it only sprinkled during the game. After it was finished and the next game was getting ready to start it started pouring! Not a good time to sit out and watch a football game. It was a fun day though and we are so glad we were able to go down and watch even if Chase didn't get to play. And we are so happy they won!

Here is us freezing cold in the rain!

My grandpa was so dang cute! He was stomping his feet on the bleachers and yelling real loud at the team cheering them on. He is such a great grandpa and we love him so much! I'm so glad he was able to come to the game. He had two grandsons playing in the game (except Chase was on the sideline in this one) so I'm sure he was just loving every minute of it!
Gramps!

Quin and me on the field after the game. You can see the scoreboard in the background of the score! Forty to six! Oh yeah Panthers

The whole team lined up in front of the scoreboard.

Chase wants to be as tall as Quin. Maybe he could reach it!

Aren't we the hottest things you've ever seen?
I love my husband

Congratulations to my little brother and his football team for taking state! Now on to basketball. The won state last year so hopefully they can make it again for two in a row. I love having younger siblings so we can come back and watch their games! Chase is a stud of a brother.

Now we are getting ready for Thanksgiving to come. Only three more days?! I can't believe the time really went that fast and we are already in the holiday season. We will be headed to Las Vegas this year to visit my grandparents and we'll also attempt Black Friday. We'll see how that goes.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving and gets to spend some quality time together with their families! I'm so excited to go home to Alamo and spend a couple days there before we get ready for the last weeks of school.

Have a great holiday friends!
