last sunday quins sister marie, and eric and little allie blessed their new baby girl! it was fun to have family down and get to spend some time with them even though it seemed like such a short weekend.

quins parents also came bearing gifts. and they even let us open them early! quins dad is so talented with pictures and scrapbooking. he put together a whole book full of pictures from our trip to peru. he even scanned in little things from the trip like our plane tickets, some peruvian money, and things like that so it could be part of the book. it was so fun to look through and remember everything from that trip. we absolutely love it! they also brought us an advant calendar. quin has been wanting one ever since thanksgiving was over with but we just hadn't got around to getting one yet. its a good thing we didn't! the one they gave us is pretty dang cute. it is a magnet board with a picture of a nativity scene. it has little drawers around it and each one has a number for the day. when you open them up they have little magnets of the nativity scene people and animals. it is so dang cute and will be fun to have when we have kids to put them on. kirk and haldeen are always so thoughtful and we are so excited to go up north this break and spend some time up there.
finals are here and we are getting ready for them to be over. we cannot wait for this break! it is much needed thats for sure. i can't believe christmas is almost here!
