what happens in vegas...

quin and i planned a little "stay-cation" to las vegas. we stayed at the treasure island for a couple nights and went to a show!! it was amazing. when we booked our room there was a deal going on for a buy one, get one free tickets to mystere at the treasure island so of course we jumped on that! we have always wanted to see a show down in vegas so this was our chance. we also got two free vouchers to the buffet for two days which made it really nice! the buffet was very yummy and at 23 bucks a person we definitely felt lucky! the first night we were there we went shopping at the forum shops in cesar's palace and went to the cheesecake factory. that place is soooo good! everything was all christmased out too so it made it fun to walk around the shops.

the next day we went shopping again! i love having a husband that doesn't mind to shop. sometimes he even likes it better than i do! we always have fun though and always find stuff we want to buy. he is pretty good at telling me no though haha. the treasure island is right across the street from the fashion show mall so we went there and walked around. they have a nice convenient bridge you can walk across to get to it. i haven't been there in forever so it was fun to see the changes. it has the BIGGEST forever 21 store that i have ever seen. it was two stories and probably as big as a walmart. i could have spent the whole day there but quin wasn't too thrilled with the corner they had for mens. we spent the majority of our time there though!

that night was the night of our show. we went and ate at the buffet there. i'm not a huge fan of buffet's because it is a lot of money and i can never eat my moneys worth so it was sooo nice that it was free. the food was great and it was such a nice area. it didn't feel like a buffet at all. the table next to us had a family sportin some utah utes attire so we talked to them a little bit about the game. after dinner we went to mystere. it was probably one of the coolest things i have ever seen! quin and i were just amazed at how strong and flexible people can be. it was just amazing. i would love to go to another show for sure. they are all part of the cirque du soleil shows which are all amazing i'm sure.

these two guys were amazingly strong. some of the things they did i'm not sure how any human can do. it was pretty awesome! quin says he looks way better than them with his shirt off. hmmm....

we couldn't take pictures during the show so we got one of us standing in front of this after. you pretty much just have to go to enjoy how great it was.

the next day we went and used our last free buffets for breakfast. the breakfast there was pretty good also. we were sad to check out and leave because we had so much fun but we are excited for christmas and everything else that is to come! we will definitely have to plan another little "stay-cation" to vegas.

we are off to the utah-boise state football game tonight for the las vegas bowl! it has been raining pretty much non-stop these last couple days but that won't stop us from going to the game. quin is pretty dang excited. it has been one continuous week of christmas basically.
