i surprised quin with tickets to the utah-boise state game in the las vegas bowl game this year! his boss was very generous and gave them to us for christmas so i kept them a secret and surprised him with them the day before the game.
he was so excited.
it had been raining so my grandma gave us a lot of stuff to keep us warm. we were so glad we were able to go though. neither one of us had ever been to a big bowl game like that before. it was pretty crazy! the game was sold out and there were more than 41,000 people there! it took us over an hour to get from the freeway to the stadium. usually it takes less than ten minutes on a normal day. of course all the drunks were yelling back and forth at eachother so that made it hilarious. i forgot my camera in the car during our rush to make it to kick off so i didn't get any pictures during the game. i know...lame. they wouldn't let me back in the game if i left to get it so we went pictureless. i did get one of us by our car in front of the stadium. it was so dark though that you can't really tell! sadly...the utes did not win but it was fun all the same.
well today is christmas and it has been wonderful!!! it is quin and mines first christmas married and we are so glad to be spending it together. i will write more on that later. right now i just wanted to do a quick post about the game!
