whats your style?

i was blog surfing in my usual craft and decor blogs that i absolutely love and i came across a quiz you could take to see what kind of decorating style you like. i have an idea of how i like to decorate but i never knew what to call it so i thought it would be fun to take and see what the name for "my style" was and to see if it was at all close. it is a quiz at ethan allen and you click on pictures that catch your eye. they pretty much nailed me right on. i got...

i definitely love the "old fashioned" stuff. i love furniture that looks like it has had a life. i love floral pillows and rugs. i love white furniture where you can add any color and pattern that you want to it. i love old books and old clocks. i love old lamps and picture frames. the more chipped the better. the more old the better. i think you get the picture. call me old fashioned and just plain old but i love this type of decorating. now i just need a house where i can do what i want to it! 

some of the things i wish i could get for my house, quin just looks at me with a "thats kinda weird" look but i will absolutely love it! i have all sorts of projects i want to do this summer with docorating and i can't wait to get started. taking this quiz kinda makes me want to get started sooner! decorating is a lot of fun and it is more rewarding when you do it yourself. i have a lot to learn but i might as well get started now!
