day four: barbados

wednesday we were on the island of barbados!! we actually did a lot this day and we had a blast doing it all. we took a small little tour of the island. our taxi driver took us around to some nice beaches, some homes, a cute little church, and then dropped us off at another beach where we used our time to the fullest.

the first beach we stopped at showed how beautiful the beaches are! barbados has some of the best beaches. we also stopped in a neighborhood that had some dang pretty homes to feed some monkeys! they were so dang cute. they were just hanging out in someone's back yard. they wouldn't come on the other side of the fence but their little hands were so cute and tiny when they would take the banana's out of our hands. i wanted to bring one home! i think that happened on every island with some kind of animal.

after the monkeys we went to the church. it was an old catholic church and had the cutest charm. president regan actually attended it when he went and visited the island. they had a little plaque on one of the benches. the lady there was a sweet little thing and told us all the history of the church and the island. i'm not going to lie, i don't really remember any of it now. oops. it was interesting though.

after the church, our taxi driver dropped us off at a beach with lots to do. we got suckered into jet skiing and had a blast! it started raining a little bit though right as we went out and it felt like pellets hitting you when we went really fast! it was so much fun though. we saw a lot of flying fish when we were out there. they were literally fishes with wings. they looked so weird! and they were a lot bigger than i thought they were. they were cool though.

 after jet skiing we went out on a boat and got to swim with sea turtles! that was pretty much the coolest thing ever! they are huge and were pretty tame. we got to feel them as they swam by us. i wish i had a water proof camera that i could have taken pictures with. pretty much they just swam around in the ocean while our boat driver fed them and we got to snorkel around and touch them. it was beyond the coolest thing! they also took us out to a shipwreck. that wasn't as cool as i thought it would be but it was still alright.

barbados was a pretty awesome day!
