jazz game

this past weekend we were able to head up north for a couple days. we headed up thursday and stopped off at snow college for quin to give a presentation there. quaint little town. stinking cold though! after that detour, we headed up to centerville to stay with quin's parents. we got there just in time before the snow started falling. it snowed pretty good all night! i love it when there is new snow on the ground. it's so pretty. and then i love to leave it and come back to st. george where snow is basically non-existent :)

friday morning we were able to get our taxes done. that definitely didn't bring good news but at least they are completed and i don't have to think about them anymore. that night we were lucky enough to get tickets to the jazz game! and they were playing the heat so we were excited to get to go. quin's friend from high school works for the jazz and it just so happened she had some extra tickets. she is the greatest for giving them to us! we invited our friends chelsi and abel to join us and made into a fun night.

as the game started, i'm not going to lie, i thought the jazz were going to get beat pretty bad but it turned out to be a really good game! the jazz at one point were ahead by twenty points. then of course, the heat came back and it became a really close game at the end. if you watched it you know what happened. the jazz ended up winning with a last second shot! such a great game. we thoroughly enjoyed the game and were so glad we were able to go! thanks heather for the tickets :)
