our valentines day.

yay for being our first valenintes day together being married! we weren't planning on doing anything big for it. quin had a surprise up his sleeve so it was fun waiting in aniticipation for it.

while i was at work, he surprised me with the institute choir that came in and sang a couple songs to me. it was so cute and kind of embarrassing. i just got to stand there while they serenaded me! it was fun though. i guess the institute down here at dixie offers to go sing to your love. quin had it set up a week before and i was completely surprised! that wasn't the main surprise though. he picked me up from home after we got done with school and work. he made me close my eyes while we drove to the place. when we got there i opened my eyes and we were at dixie bowl! it is probably the oldest bowling place in all of st. george. of our three and half years of being together, quin and i have never been bowling together. so it was fun to finally go. quin's sister and brother in law came with us too! marie has the craziest bowling skills. she was funny to watch! we were glad to go with them. they are always fun to hang around whenever we get together. quin and i ended up tieing and the end! i was the only one to get any strikes so i was pretty proud of myself for that. one time i would barely hit the pins and then the next i get a strike. go figure! i'm not a very good bowler but i do get lucky every once in a while.

after bowling, we went out to dinner at texas roadhouse. it was super busy there so we ended up having to wait an hour. since tai pan is so close we decided to kill some time there. i wasn't complaining...i love that store!! such cute things in there. dinner was delicious though. texas roadhouse always is! their rolls are to die for!

we had a pretty early night. quin had homework he needed to finish and a test the next day he had to study for so we didn't stay out too long. i went over to my friends house and watched bachelor!! love that show. so glad michelle went home. i can't wait til next weeks episode!

valentines day was awesome and way chill this year. it is so nice having a husband to spend it with. being married kinda makes it so it isn't as big of a deal to do something huge. just the simple day we had was so fun and the perfect valentines day. can't wait for the many more valentine days to come!
