the cute picture frame
and his little note!
later that night we went to dinner at brick oven. we were planning on going to olive garden but it was packed! so we kept driving and brick oven was the next restaurant up so we went with it. it was pretty good, not the best but their root beer was soooooo good! i think i drank way too much because i couldn't even eat my whole meal and i got the unlimited salad and pasta! i definitely didn't get my money's worth on that. quin got a yummy calzone. he was being more conservative instead of going for the unlimited stuff. smart choice.
this was the only picture i got. i kept thinking to get one of us together but i failed at that. oh well. he's pretty cute to look at anyways.
after dinner, we went to the dixie boys basketball game. we didn't stay too long but it was fun to watch them for a little bit. they are doing so well this year that it makes it funner to watch a winning team. we left a little after half time and went home to meet up with our friends robin and cj and their two kids. they have the most adorable kids ever! they are pictured in my post of the pine valley cabin. anyways, we watched the bachelor that i had recorded from the night before, enjoyed a lot of snacks, and also the hot tub. we had a blast hanging out with them as always.
when we were watching the bachelor, our door bell rang and we opened it up to a plate full of cookies and a note from our "secret admirers". how cute right?! we still have no idea who left them but they were very yummy. as you can probably tell in the picture below, they were already eaten before i could even get the picture. thanks to our secret admirers for the delicious cookies!
we also received some cute cards in the mail. it's nice to get something other than bills! my cute grandparents sent one and quins awesome parents sent one also. we felt pretty loved. we weren't expecting anything and it's always nice to know your loved ones are thinking of you. i should probably get better at sending cute cards. anyways, thanks nana and mom and dad monson for the adorable valentines day cards! we truly appreciate it.
hope everyone had any enjoyable day of love!
